Cancellation Policies

To cancel or reschedule an instructor-led, open enrollment class seat, you must provide notice at least fourteen (14) days in advance of the class start date. Substitutions are allowed up to seven (7) days before the class start date.

No refunds or rescheduled classes are permitted if you fail to contact Fortinet Training within the cancellation policy timeline.
To cancel or reschedule a virtual (online) instructor-led training, you must provide notice at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the class start date. Substitutions are allowed up to seventy-two (72) hours before the class start date.

To cancel or substitute an online, self-paced course, you must provide notice before you start the course. We are not able to transfer or refund a course that has started, regardless of the state of completion.

To cancel or reschedule private onsite training session, either with NSE standard or custom content, you must provide notice at least fourteen (14) days in advance of the class start date.

To cancel or substitute on-demand labs within online self-paced courses, you must provide notice before you start the lab activities. We are not able to transfer or refund a lab that has started, regardless of the state of completion.

No refunds or rescheduled practical exam sessions are permitted if you fail to contact Fortinet Training within the cancellation policy timeline.
Remote labs orders must be submitted at least fifteen (15) business days in advance of the class start date.

Cancellation and changes must be submitted at least seven (7) business days in advance of the class start date. After that only additions will be accepted. Unused pods are not transferable.

Fortinet does not accept revised purchase orders (POs). To make changes in your order, such as requesting additional remote lab environments, please submit a new purchase order (PO) for the additional quantity required. Make sure to comment the new purchase order (PO) as an addition to a previous order for internal tracking. See PO Submission Policy for further information.

Fortinet reserves the right to cancel or postpone scheduled training, based on minimum attendance requirements, instructor availability, or for any other reason. Cancellation decisions are at the sole discretion of Fortinet.

If your class is cancelled, Fortinet Training will notify you by email at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the class start date. We will make every effort to reschedule the class within a reasonable timeframe.

In the unlikely event your class does not take place, Fortinet is not responsible for travel costs that students may incur.

Once NSE exam vouchers are delivered, no refunds, nor PO cancellations, are permitted.
You may cancel the use of the Service at any time and for any reason, but in no event will Fortinet refund any prepaid subscription fee.

Payment Policies

Purchase orders (PO) must be submitted to the local order management team for review and processing at least fifteen (15) business days before any of the following training engagement:
  • Public or private instructor-led training, either classroom or virtual (online), with NSE standard or custom content
  • Online self-paced training
  • NSE 8 practical exams sessions
  • ATC remote lab orders
  • NSE exam vouchers

Please submit your POs to your local order management team:
Fortinet training services, which include courses, on-demand labs, and certification exams, should be paid by purchase order (PO) from authorized Fortinet Resellers or Authorized Training Centers.

On-demand labs and exam vouchers can also be purchased via credit cards within self-paced courses. This process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com (Merchant of Record). Paddle provides customer service inquiries for credit card payments through help@paddle.com. Exchange rate for local currencies is manage by your credit card financial institution and not by Paddle or Fortinet. Paddle or Fortinet will not reimburse discrepancies on exchange rates.

Fortinet training is a prepaid service. All payments for training courses must be made prior to the training start date. Note that training credits expire within three hundred and sixty-five (365) days of receiving the purchase order (PO).

Expiration Policies

You must complete the online self-paced training, and the associated on-demand hands-on labs if purchased, within three hundred and sixty-five (365) days of your enrollment. After this timeframe your access to the self-paced training may be revoked.
You must book to access any of the purchased on-demand labs within three hundred and sixty-five (365) days of submitting the purchase order (PO), or purchasing by credit card. After this timeframe, your purchase expire, hence the training credits purchased.

You must take note of the estimated lab duration for each on-demand lab activity, and ensure you have enough time to complete the lab, as you can only launch each lab activity once.
You must book to attend any of the scheduled instructor-led training or NSE 8 practical exam sessions within 365 days of submitting the purchase order (PO). After this timeframe, your purchase order will be expired, hence the training credits purchased.
You must request to coordinate and schedule the private Fortinet training (virtual or onsite), within three hundred and sixty-five (365) days of submitting the purchase order (PO). After this timeframe, your purchase order will be expired, hence the training credits purchased.
The NSE exam vouchers are valid for three hundred and sixty-five (365) days.
Fortinet NSE 4 – 7 certifications are valid for two (2) years. NSE 8 certification is valid for three (3) years.
The duration of the Service is three hundred and sixty-five (365) days from the date of subscription activation.

You must request Service renewal before the current subscription expires. Otherwise, access may be purged after seven days, with no grace period.

Schedule Policies

All on-site training engagements and NSE 8 Practical exam delivery will become available as local conditions allow for safe reopening. Available openings will be communicated as sites resume operations.

Exam Policies

Once an exam has been passed it cannot be taken again. Pearson VUE will block registration to retake already passed exams.

Students who fail an exam can retake it fifteen (15) consecutive days after the failed attempt.

Support Policies

On-demand lab support within self-paced courses is limited to issues involving lab platform or virtual devices that are not working as expected. To contact Training Support, go to Contact Us page.

Note that support does not include the assistance and guidance of certified trainers, nor does it cover issues that are caused by users who miss configuration steps or do not complete them as described in the lab guides.
