Course Description

In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of configuring, operating, monitoring, and centrally managing FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager devices.

This five-day workshop combines selected content from three Fortinet Training Institute courses. The first three days focus on core and selected optional modules fromĀ FortiOS Administrator, covering the essential FortiGate configuration and security policy skills required for day-to-day firewall administration. The fourth day introduces FortiAnalyzer Administrator, focusing on logging, monitoring, event analysis, and report generation. The fifth day covers the FortiManager Operator Workshop, focusing on centralized FortiGate management, device registration, ADOMs, policy packages, shared objects, configuration installation, and operational troubleshooting.

In interactive labs, students will configure FortiGate features, analyze logs and reports in FortiAnalyzer, and use FortiManager to register devices and centrally manage device settings and policy packages across multiple FortiGate devices.
