To achieve this certification, you are required to pass two core exams within two years.

Certification

To obtain the FCSS in SASE certification, you must pass the two core exams within two years. The certification will be active for two years from the date of the second exam.

Recertification
  • If your FCSS in SASE certification has expired, you must pass two core exams no more than two years apart to earn active status.
  • While your FCSS in SASE certification is still active, you can extend the expiration date by two years from the date you complete the following requirement:
    • Pass two core exams before the FCSS SASE expiry date.
  • While your FCSS in SASE certification is still active, you can extend the expiration date by three years from the date you achieve or recertify the FCX in Cybersecurity certification.
  • Passing any of the FCSS in SASE exams recertifies your FCP in Network Security, FCF, and FCA certifications if they are still active.

About NSE Certification Exams
  • Available worldwide at: Pearson VUE test centers and OnVUE
  • Scoring method: Answers must be 100% correct for credit. No partial credit is given. There are no deductions for incorrect answers.
  • Type of questions: Single Selection and Multiple Selection Multiple Choice Questions
  • Time required between attempts: 15 days
  • Digital badges: Your Fortinet Training Institute account is updated within five business days after you pass the exam.
  • Once an exam has been counted towards certification, it cannot be used again to renew the same certification.
  • You cannot retake an exam you have already passed.
